Stephen Daldry’s record breaking, and multi-award winning production for the National Theatre of J.B.Priestley’s “An Inspector Calls”, is on at the Bradford Alhambra, on THURSDAY, JANUARY 30TH/2020, at 7:30pm. after a sell-out season and American tour.
Daldry’s radical, challenging, and visionary version of this classic thriller, hailed as the theatrical event of its generation, has been seen by more than four million people world-wide.
When Inspector Goole arrives unexpectedly at the prosperous Birling family home, their peaceful dinner party is shattered by his investigations into the death of a young woman. His startling revelations shake the very foundations of their lives and challenge us all to examine our consciences.
More relevant, now than ever, this is a must-see play for a whole new generation of theatre-goers.
Written at the end of the second world war, and set before the first, “An Inspector Calls” is a brilliantly compelling and haunting thriller.
As usual, this booking was arranged virtually on the first day it went on sale, so very good seats in the front stalls, on rows E and F, and dress circle rows C and D.
The bonus, with a theatre group booking, is a group discount it earns, reducing the price from £34 to £30.50, a saving of 10%.
Coaches will be leaving Easingwold Market Square at 5pm. with a pick-up in Stillington about 4:30pm., Stillington Oaks just after that, and the cost £10, payable on the night.
