I do hope you are all well and have had a lovely Easter weekend.

Our Spring production earlier in the month ‘Life: Ups, Downs and Banana Bread’ was a great success, the scripts were tougher than we first thought, but the actors took on the challenge and we all enjoyed the different roles we played. If you got to see us, thank you and I hope you enjoyed our performances. Thank you to our technical team/backstage team, the production was a very quiet one for them, but we will be relying on them to pull out all the stops for the panto in November. (O, yes, we will!!)

Our Annual General Meeting for 2025 will be held at the Galtres centre on Wednesday 14th May 7.30pm in Kurt’s Bar, information regarding the meeting was sent out separately. Tea and coffee will be available and the bar will be open!  Please come along and support the players as we move forward.

Moving onto the Summer….
We are holding a play reading /social on the 24th June in the Galtres Centre starting at 7pm. If we have any budding new directors out there please feel free to submit a suggested play to the committee for perusal, you can contact us on easingwoldplayerscommittee@gmail.com
This is an social evening there is no pressure to read , please just come along and have fun.

Our Panto for 2025 will be ‘Robin Hood’ written and directed by our very own Huan Quayle. There will be plenty of fun, laughter, and a good tune or two that we can all sing along to, our music will be led by Ish Herd who joined us for panto last year and was a huge success both with our audiences and cast.
Auditions/reading for the panto will be on Thursday 10th July and Wednesday 16th July, in the Galtres lounge, starting at 7pm This may seem early but there will be lots to be involved with. Rehearsals will be held on Mondays and Thursdays starting on the 1st September at 7pm in the Galtres centre. Cast members will not necessarily be needed at every rehearsal to start with, but commitment nearer the time will be essential, particularly two weeks prior to the performance dates. 
Performance dates are Wednesday 12th November to Saturday 15th November 2025 starting at 7pm each evening.
