The Last Post tells the true story of Molly (Amelia Gillen) and Alick (James Potter) First World War sweethearts. The love letters of this young couple formed te basis of a play written by the late Jill Sumner, joint founder, along with her husband David, of the Swallow Theatre, Scotland.
The play also features Bromwyn Jennison.
In 1917 the war poet Wilfred Owen (Jonathan Lewis) recovering from shell-shock, comes face to face with Lieutenant Colonel Gray (Dominic Goodwin) in a seafront hotel. Both are facing their unspeakable demons far away from the trenches. On Scarborough Front is the poignant tale of two minds thrown together in devastating circumstances.
